Mandatory PCR test for foreigners; prolongation of working hours restrictions

Starting from 20 December 2020, foreign citizens will not be able to enter the Republic of Serbia without a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours.

Domestic citizens can enter the Republic of Serbia without a negative PCR test, in which case they will be obliged to spend 10 days in home isolation. Such isolation can be interrupted by obtaining a negative PCR test.

Apart from the above mentioned, a stricter control of all border crossings has been announced.

These measures shall remain in force until 10 January 2021 when they will be reconsidered in accordance with the current epidemiological situation.

Finally, regarding measures that pertain to restrictions of working hours of which we wrote earlier (for more information, visit cplaw.rs), please note that their duration has been prolonged so that the same shall remain in force until Friday, 18 December 2020, when the new session of the Crisis Headquarters shall take place.

This notice is based on the notice published on the website of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, considering that there is still no formal decision regarding this matter.
